Lo-cost rental in Punta Gorda, Florida

I have just purchased a 1984 Freedom 32 which is presently on the hard in Punta Gorda, Florida.

I would like to rent a small place for two weeks (in P.G.) in January or February, so that we can get started on readying our boat to be reintroduced to the warm Florida waters....

We have tons of flexibility time wise and would like to find something for about $200 a week

Have you tried finding an extended stay hotel? They usually run between 190-240 a week.
