I think it's important that in all this talk over stability and performance we don't forget to mention an even more fundamental criteria for
purchasing a sailboat, the topic of CPM. I've long believed that once you've narrowed down your choices and are in the final selection process you need to consider CPM. CPM is crucial and the higher the CPM the more desirable the yacht will ultimatly be. IMHO cats have almost always outscored mono's. I think it has something to do with the nets.
It's importand that CPM is measured in units rather than by the weight as that would give and unfair and tainted score.
CPM = Chicks Per Meter.
