John Pugh Yachts

Hi all, I own a 1990 Australian built John Pugh designed Windsong Ketch , and although there are many of these designed yachts built and sailing in ASustralia and around the world, there is now a Group that has been established for owners, past owners and anyone who has an intrest in this Australian Yacht designer.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/John_Pugh_Yacht_Owners/

I have no commercial connections and my intention is that this site is an area for technical discussion and sailing chat focused on the John Pugh designed boats.

So if you own, have owned or are interested in a John Pugh designed Yacht, take a look at the link and see what you think?

Thanks and fair winds,

Cal

Re: John Pugh Yachts

Nice work Cal, had a look around the site and joined up. Sailed a mates Windsong up the coast a few years ago, a very seaworthy yacht, a solid feel, that handles ocean conditions very well. Loved it. John Pugh knew what he was doing.

We are members and definitely recommend checking out the group if you are interested in Mr JP's work. Cal, you've done a great job with the group. We love our Windsong Sloop!

Anybody have a link to John Pugh design plans? Especially around the 35 to 39 ft mark.

Hi Saltyrope I believe you can still get the plans from Matt Collis who manages the Australian agency of Build-A-Boat and can still be contacted on 02 99384933 their address is PO Box 474, Brookvale NSW 2100. I have tried to call a few times but no answer. A friend recently bought study plans for a Resolute from them. I will contact him to see if the phone number has changed. His email was build_a_boat@exemail.com.au

More info can be found at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...h_Yacht_Owners
