Is Frank Wood a reputable guy?

I don't know if this kind of post is allowed.

I've been contacted by a guy named Frank Wood through the St. Pete to Isla Mujeres race crew board. He currently owns the Hylas 49 "It's Only Money" and says that he built and sailed a trimaran called "Triple Jack". Does anyone know this guy well enough to know if he is legit?

Thanks
