Introductions

I'd not go as far to say I was a long time lurker but I have used this site as a resource quite often over the last few years.

And finally today I decided to register

In case you were wondering my forum name derives from that fact that when I got back in to sailing I used to race with a ladies team on a J-24 and I was their rail meat. How I was convinced to join a ladies race team is another story entirely and that will have to wait for another day.

Anyway - hi to all

Right, I can't add a profile picture. Anyway know why that might be? It's less that 400 x 400 pixels but more than 25kb. But that's not an issue apprently.

What could be the problem?

Welcome aboard! Might you need something like 10 posts first? I seem to remember that somewhere but maybe that is private messages.

Re: Introductions

Sailing with an "experienced" female crew and being labeled as "rail meat" reinforces my imagination. Seen lots of posts from guys looking for all female crew, but not the other way. Are you the twin brother of Arnold S? [cant spell his last name]

Nothing that would warrant a letter to a gentlemans magazine. They were a lightweight crew and I'm not lightweight.

I'd never sailed with an exclusively female crew before and it was not all gossip and roses - the skipper was tough.
