Hey Tropical Escape, you?, a Ras I don't think so. Why would you claim that?
I recon you just might be a baldhead who posts untruths online to try and get a rise out of anyone you think you might be able to verbally bully.

Curious though, you have also posted quite a few sycophantic replies to those you appear to want to engraciate yourself with as well.

Whatever floats your boat bloke
Peace

Maybe I was trying to "engraciate" myself to you..didnt work..you took it as offensive.. what would you know about what someone is or isnt.. nadie baldhead ..I didnt claim anything, simply thought that "IF" you were a"Soul Jah" you would understand what I wrote..but from the sound of it your just one more fronting poser like so many other want to be "Rastas"sounds like your the verbal bully...and ard eared to boot..what did you do get a few Bob Marley albums and take a vacation and have a soul searching moment under a cloud of ganja smoke..wouldnt be the first time and not very orig-anal-...so many dreds and not enough conviction..next time I go down to seven miles I will tell Rita and Steven and Ziggy if he's around I had the dis-plesure of communicating with a Bambaclot blood steady fronting curry goat eating shoe wearing hair washing want-a-be HalaseIanI lion of Juda part time rasta...now dont go around calling folks liers ..bad form for a "REAL" RastafarI..remember the first tenet of offical Rasta-dom is that the seed of every herb was planted at the head of the grave of the "WISEST" mans grave SOLOMAN...not some" wise asses" grave.HalesalaseI and You..I guess..now be a nice little naddy dred and go play with the other ..enlighten ones..Im going sailing..probably make back to Jamaica before Feb. I will tell all my good friends in Kingston you said...something...why you took offense I dont know, do you think that I was mooking you ?I wasnt.are you really Rasta and a pacifest?I would have a hard time beliving that as I know many that are and they dont come across like you, they have convictions and dont stray..you went from compliments to attacks,(ganja will do that its called short term memory loss)I have stayed at Rita Marleys house and have been to many a soccer game with her children and she has used her on hands to squeeze oranges to make juice for me,I have built the fire light with George before he died and many many outher "Rastas", so you go on trying to read between the lines of what you think someone means on a mind less medium like this internet and you will solve all the worlds problems and then you will get that notariaty that all who walk along the fringes of sociaty covet..but if that is not what you want and you are serious about your I assume religious convections then humble yourself..like a true man of GOD! Re: International 'Talk Like a Pirate' Day

G'day Zee,
seems like everyone love a fight here hey?

Hey Tropical Escape, my bad, please accept my apology. Here’s my reasoning.
You posted “InI Rasta” literally “I am a Rasta” and yes I did jump to the conclusion that you were not. You are right, ini do not know one way or the other.
I see now that the I meant recognition, something like “Jah Rastafari, you are a Ras”

The thing is, I did bother to post to you. I was genuinely asking (if you were not) why you would make the statement “I am a Rasta”. Reading back, I did gob off a bit , presuming that you were another poster like that bird with the beer bottle (I bet he not even a real captain) saying silly stuff to wind folks up. I don’t think I’ll ever bother replying to him. But to the I, ini say sorry.

Back to the post at hand, I just thought I’d add that many Ras would burn me for even mentioning “talk like a pirate day”.

Did you know the day is being touted as a “holy day” by the “Pastafarians” a group who claim to worship the “Flying Spaghetti Monster”? True, I am not making this up. The whole purpose of this “Church” is to apparently emphasise the “stupidity” of religious conviction. To that, all ini say is, if ini be brainwashed ini would rather have a clean head than a dirty one! One man likes a trumpet and the next man like a trombone.

It is my genuine belief that if as many people as possible are making “pirate” noises around the world on Monday that surely the seriousness of the safety of our cruising routes will come up on the day as well. Who knows, maybe even those in a position to do something about it might even be prompted to move in that direction.

Fair winds and clear skies on the I’s run to Jamrock
Bless up kin dread,
Peace

Re: International 'Talk Like a Pirate' Day

If ever there was a stupid thing to fight about this has got to be it.

Either chill out and post respectfully (and please find the keys that seem to be missing from certain keyboards) or the thread will be closed. It's not exactly an important subject!

G'day Hummingway,

How can apologising to someone be described as a fight?
I'm sorry I don't know what keys you are talking about. Could you be more specific?

and G'day Boatman, FWIW Rasta don't drink, ini no smoke either.

Cool runnings kin its Ital on my end...Irei... and InI cant spell..I think the missing keys he's " reffering" to are mine, I guess he's bias as to the fact that I have an 8th grade education,Ive noticed that some folks get bent out of shape on here because someone spells words wrong or has a particular writing style that dictates that they have got to stop and think what someone is trying to say..we cant all be as smart as the rest of um..I hope they will forgive me my ignorance, after all I came by it honestly..I apologise to you also SoulJah...Ps Boatman you and Zee like that dont ya..two heads..now thats funny..I prefer Red Strip..

Re: International 'Talk Like a Pirate' Day

I was refering to Capt. lulz's use of lolspeak. The rest was aimed at the posts preceeding SoulJah's apology that were strident and pointless as well as any to come that may contain insults and foolishness over a Disneyesque internet invention. What next, a fight whether to ban Bambi because of it's violence?

Re: International 'Talk Like a Pirate' Day

Political Correctness is the downfall of modern nation.

Seriously....it is a means of mind control.

It makes people fearful of being perceived as mean, bigoted.

It really makes me laugh when people use three or more words....when one will do.

BTW pirate ships were more democratic than the British Navy
