Indoor outboard storage qq.

Hello everyone!

I've got a 12ft inflatable tender and I just purchased two second hand outboards for it (Yamaha 3.5A and Seagull 40" plus). I have them stored in my balcony at the moment but having them there is a bit annoying sometimes and the only other place I have to store them is a small room where the water heater of the appartment is.

My question is, would it be dangerous to leave them in there or they'd be fine?

Thanks a lot beforehand!

Re: Indoor outboard storage qq.

Is the water heater location climate controlled? If so that would be better than outdoors.

Yeah the room is protected from the climate and so. What worried me is that the spark that heats up the gas on the heater ignites any kind of flammable particles in the air or something from the engines.

I do n't know, I may be overthinking a lot XD

Thoroughly drain the gas from the engine.

Just don’t keep any gas in it.
