Hello all,
an important update for all sailers cruising the
Queensland East Coast. Earlier this year I posted a notice to mariners which advised of closures of
anchorages in the Shoal Bay area due to live fire exercises by our Military Services. It appears that due to substantial lobbying by fellow sailers common sense has prevailed and the notice to mariners has been amended opening several but not all the
anchorages in this area.

current no go areas and
safe anchorages.
