Hull painting on a budget (with a roller)

Any other brands of paint able to pull off this remarkable rolled finish?

My dock neighbor repainted his boat with Alexseal, outdoors with a roller. It does indeed look great.

Boatworks is one of my 'go-to's' for info / advice.

Also has a lot of great YouTube 'how-to' vids on other subjects.

Re: Hull painting on a budget (with a roller)

We painted our deck last summer ('20) with Awlgrip. The mohair rollers left a great finish and didn't dissolve the way foam rollers do in the 2-part paints. The Alexseal is impressive - especially on a vertical surface. Am surprised that Andy talks a good bit about solvents flashing off in the shop within minutes of being mixed, yet fails to wear any mask or filters to protect himself.

21 minutes of watching somebody mix paint??!!
I have more important ways to waste my time, like drinking beer and watching Florida State football.
Is there a Readers Digest version?
