Hempel olympic Olympic Botten paint???

Aloha all.
Well it's been 2.5 years and lots of miles seance out last hall out. We used Trinidad Pedet last time in Florida and it did ok. It was pretty much gone after 1.5 years. So we have been diving it a lot.
Now we are in Hawaii and about to pull out in 4 days. I have spoken with a couple local people including a charter company and they use the Hempel Olympic and love it. As always pricing is a factor. The hempel is $178 a gal but I can get it in a 5 gal bucket and save money. We will be sailing back in to the South Pacific so we will be moving a lot.
So does anyone have any experience with with Hempel Olympic??

I've been using Hempel antifouling for over 20 years, Olympic since at least 2010...maybe before... excellent stuff.

Had it on the hull for 3 transpacs....

Didn't use it on 2 occasions when it wasn't available and I used a Sherwin Williams ablative instead....which was also very good.

How much time did you get out of the Olympic and how many coats did you apply?

From a standing start over a 'bare' hull 3 coats.

After that just wash and two coats plus extra on the water line etc . I've only taken her back to bare hull 3 times in 25 years.

How long? First pic.... 6 years and maybe 17000 miles since last antifouled... but 23 years since bare hull.

Second pic... 2 years and about 10,000 miles since bare hull and 3 coats..

That is great it hold up very good. Thank you for all your time and info. It is great to see how something holds up real world before using it.
