HELP! I'm drowning...

...in a sea of information! We are a family of three (two-legged and more four-legged ones) actively looking for a cruiser as our new home. We found a 1983 45' Liberty 458 in San Diego for sale. Does anyone have experience or knowledge with this model boat? Also, we plan to canal it into the Caribbean, would the 6'9" draft be do-able?

Thanks for the info....

Hello, FloFar, and a warm welcome!

I don't know the boat, but I can say that most places you will want to visit in the eastern Caribbean will be accessible with a draft like that.

p.s. here's a search on "Liberty 458" ... LINK

I have only seen the Liberty once. Looks like a real nice boat. I met a family doing a cruise on one up in Canada.
