Agree on that one. Looks like sheet bags - first two.

Dinghy dodger on the orange item may be possible. Also - Possibly for covering an anchor?

We have a bunch of these treasures on our boat - same circumstances. After 6 years - still mysteries.

Re: Help identifying these items please

I like the thong idea. I think it must be a dodger too but for a second it reminded me of a piece of fabric that might have been used for one of those self-steering vanes, sort of like the one pictured. Anyone still have one of those? They never looked like they would work to me but never tried one. Though if it is hooked up to a trim tab I guess it should work well. Sorry, don't mean to hijack thread.

Re: Help identifying these items please

Wow! Thanks for the help. What an interesting post.

I just emailed Achilles. I'll let you know what they say.

The wind vane idea is interesting too. More will be revealed.

On the brown bag, I do believe yall hit it when you said storage bag for stuff in the cockpit. Thanks!

HMMMMMMMMMM Thong?? Can't imagine e heavy duty-beauty that could wear it. Wouldn't need the electric winches with a power wench.

Re: Help identifying these items please

Got an email from Jeffrey Frank at Achilles, he noted:

"This gentleman wins!

The orange cloth reminds me of the small dodger that came with my dad's old Achilles inflatable. The small pocket fit a curved piece of pvc pipe that supported the open end, and curved into another pocket at the 'forepeak' of the inflatable. It wasn't that big of a dodger, as the tubes filled most of the space.

Re: Help identifying these items please

So I have an Achilles inflatable dodger OR a thong for sale.

I'll send it your way for the "cost"... of a picture on this post... of you modeling it for us as a thong.
