Help going through the ocachobee canal

I will be sailing my boat from Rio Dulce to Florida to put her up for sail and would like to get as much info from anyone who has done this trip. Also as the angle would be more favorable to go to the west coast, info about the Ocachobee canal would be also be greatly appreciated. My draft is a 5' 6" and a mast height of 49'. I plan on doing this trip in Feb or early March 2016.
