Greetings All, I am looking for other Gulf Star 40's (HOOD) I found one in Mass which used to be owned by his son Chris Hood and Hull number one in Tennessee. If anyone out there has a boat name I can look it up through document vessel website or the owners name the same way. There were 19 built up until 1982. Thanks for any and all help rendered. Bon Vente
This posting on sailboatlistings is really old, but there is a phone number at the bottom. Might be a starting point. Pretty boat. Shame so few were made.
Thank you EVM, where did you find or have all the info? Thank you so much. I have Weetamo ex Worton now. And am resurrecting 18 plus years of neglect and lack of all sensible taking care by previous owner. Great boat with great ratios. Thanks again, Lodbrog
The Floridian boat was kept by the owner and is now in Tennessee on a big lake. He has been a font of info for me and a great help. He used to own a yard in FL and is a Marine Architect.
Windrunner was owned by the Lezin family in Santa Cruz for many years. Gorgeous boat which apparently sailed well, was stiff, and participated in local races for the better part of a decade. Not sure which hull number, but the original owner was the late Norman Lezin.

Hi,
not sure if you will check on here again, but I am buying a Gulfstar Hood 40 in 2 days. Boat needs work, but I am going to get her back in shape.
