Also the Port Authority have just bumped up the fees for the sailing permit (not Suez transfer fees, but you still need it) from $60 to $930! Maybe its a form of protest

For Grounding see first post, for price increase it came from an agent who is a member of the Red Sea Passage Facebook group - Well worth joining if you are ever going through the Suez either way and traversing the Red Sea either way.

So wild... all the articles keep referring to the ship's name as "Ever Given", while EVERGREEN is clearly displayed in all the pictures.

Ever Given: Name of ship. AIS Position
Evergreen: Name of company owning / operating it after working through all the shell companies.

I think Evergreen has the word "Ever" in everything they own in one form or another. I see "Ever Lenient" and "Ever Lively" are two recent additions. Good names for pirate ships maybe.
