I searched around and couldn't find a good answer. So I thought I would try here for curiosities sake. How easy does glass foul up underwater (say glass bottom boat) and how hard is it to clean compared to a regular anti-foulingpaint? This is just speculation and pure curiosity.
During the Bermuda summer, when our water temp is about 85F, we clean the panels at least once a week. It does not take long for the green algae to start. It wipes off with a terry cloth. It is important that you not let growth get to where it has to be scraped off. If the glass is scratched it it very difficult to get the algae out of the scratch.

Thanks Blue for that. I was just idly daydreaming today, about a glass boat, made using Gorilla Glass. Supposed to be stronger than steel. As far as I know it's not commercially available for this type of application.
