Used Inflatable Free Boat (San Diego Area)

Something that just about every sailboat needs. Be careful since it's one of those deals that seems too good to be true.

Re: FREE, or close to free!

very scary/sketchy. its free, but need 7k in refit, and if you get the boat, the current gets the right to buy it back after you've done the work...

In short if you pay for the retrofit then you temporarily own the boat with rights to sail whenever you want, wherever you want, however you want and can relocate the vessel anywhere in the United States. You stand the chance to become the permanent owner If I do not repurchase the vessel.

If I took it on I would never actually complete the refit 100% but we all know a boats refit is never completed there is always more work to do its a boat . .
I'm sure my attorney could find something with his paperwork to negate the buyback option . Perhaps first option to buy if I ever sell but that's as far as I would go .

Cape Dory 25 Sailboat - $1,900

Just saw on CL in Richmond, VA.

Cape Dory 25 sailboat, sloop, fair condition. Good suit of sails, 6 horsepower motor (serviced and new impeller two seasons ago, have not run the motor since this service). Galley, head, holding tank. Sleeps 4-6.

I'd be driving to see that sucker if I didn't already have 4 boats.

Great little boats and if the price includes the motors and trailer it's worth the price . Not great headroom but sails well . Went to Hawaii on mine a couple decades ago . Would make a great weekend toy.

FREE SAIL BOAT & TRAILER (Turnersville NJ)

I kind of debated posting this but it might be worth picking up, depending on what it has with it. The ad doesn't say if it has a mast or sails. It does have what appears to be a decent trailer and if it has all of it's parts, then with some scrubbing and some bottom paint it could make a nice little daysailor.

Free Tug Boat-Needs Moved!!! (Gorst, WA)

I know that this isn't a sailboat and it's certainly not what I'm looking for, but I had to show this to y'all. Another boat that would be fun to look at.
