Been about a decade, so Im sure its changed, but I used to live on the Manatee River in Bradenton. Great venue for sailing and living.

All of the West coast from Tarpon Springs down to the Keys is a great cruising ground with many pleasant places to live.

Real estate prices are probably still favorable in FL too.
