The
Florida anchoring and
mooring pilot program is set to expire in 2017. The FWC has set up an online
survey. As in the past surveys the FWC has put in place, some of the multiple choice answers are crafted in a way that might get the answer
THEY are looking for, so please think any responses over before submitting.
They asked in one section how the pilot program has affected me negatively. My answer was that restricting
anchoring in the Vinoy Basin has greatly reduced the number of times I have visited St Petersburg. And it has, we spent many nights anchored there before the pilot program. We have not anchored in St Pete at all since the program started.
As usual the time window for the
survey is short, ends Oct 9th. You do not need to be a resident of
Florida to take the survey.
