Downloading Electronic Charts for Open CPN

Hello all,

I have been trying to download forms from the following NOAA site:

Chart Downloader for NOAA RNC&#174

I have tried on Firefox and IE. When I select the button to download, it opens another page that requires me to hit the OK button at the bottom of the page to acknowledge that I am going to download the file. Once I hit that button, another page opens and it remains blank. No file has ever been downloaded.

Is anyone else having that problem? Is there page bad or am I missing something? Is there someplace else I can go to obtain these files? I would really like to get some files of Hawaii.

Try using Google Chrome browser. I have no problems with it, after hitting ok on rights agreement popout page, zip file downloads. Unzip and plug into OpenC or other chart program.

Just tried it in Firefox and it worked fine. After clicking on OK it gave me this window...


You are not getting this window? If not, it has to be something with your Firefox settings.

Sounds like you have popups disabled.

I'm not getting that box. I tried google chrome. It is possible that the server here on the ship is preventing me from accessing it on my own laptop. I will try the next time I am on land and see if it can make it work.
