Dogs in the Tidal Zone ... video

Our Boxer "Boaz" got sliced up pretty badly by the Oyster Shells so Lorna made up some rubber booties with soles for protection. Works well although there is an embarassing break-in procedure ...

Regarding dogs in the tidal zone, what are the rules in Australia regarding dogs going ashore at low tide and staying below the high tide mark, if you are abutting a National Park?

How long before he was used to them? I've thought of putting something on our dog's paws for traction aboard. She hates not being able to get traction when we heel. Right now I'm looking at adding a matting to the entire cockpit floor for this purpose. But that does nothing to help along the deck.

Those oyster shells are the pits for sure. Sharp as heck. I've seen beaches in B.C. that from a distance looked like white sand. when I got there with the dingy, the oysters were a foot deep!
