We own one and bought it for the purpose of doing the loop and
Bahamas. Before we bought it a couple years ago, we spoke with a couple who had cruised and lived on theirs for a number of year and took their advise on making the most of the characteristics of the
boat. One of the big things that swayed us was the number of 300's that have survived hurricanes while their neighbors sustained severe damage.
The
boat sails very well considering, and actually goes to
weather much better than you would think. If you would like specifics, let me know. If I can't answer, I know who can.
