I ran my lines exactly like the instructions that came with my davits said to. Not that they are right.

I don’t want to sound smug, but I don’t have any blocks or tackles to hoist my 150lbs dinghy and outboard eight feet up to my davits. I just have single lines and a button marked up and down. See Lifting the dinghy with an electric hoist
