I am looking for a reliable and really knows the universal engines mechanic around New England that you can recommend. Any help?

New England is a good sized place. The guys at Billings Marine in Stonington, ME know what they're doing. At the other end, Norwalk Cove Marina in Connecticut has a good reputation as well. There may be others in between. Where are you?
