Death in Farralones Race

Apparently a Sydney 36 got into trouble in a Farralones (sp? - but its near San Fran) race today and 4 people were recovered but one was deceased. Any of my hippy city friends know anything of this?

According to a report in the SF Chronicle (1 dead, 4 missing in yacht race accident), 1 dead & 4 missing sailors. Apparently a 38 ft boat ran aground & was subsequently hit with large waves, washing crew members overboard, during the race around The Farralone Islands.

I'm sure we'll hear much more about this, but those familiar with these waters and this race know how treacherous those waters can be.
