Cruising northern Gulf of Mex. coast

I will be back cruising again within weeks. This time in a powerboat because we converted from sailing.
Anyway, I will be travelling from Galveston Bay, Tx. to Biloxi, Ms this winter.
I was looking at ActiveCaptain.com and I didn't see many fuel stops on the water - especially gasoline- on the ICW in La. Do any of you know any places for gas along the route I will be taking - the ICW all the way. I am especially concerned between Lake Charles, La. and New Orleans.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Cruising northern Gulf of Mex. coast

You can get diesel or gas in Pass Christian Harbor,(Miss) over by the commercial seafood facility, but it is one really messed up dock.

Long Beach Harbor is currently not selling diesel or gas.

Gulfport (Miss.) Small Craft Harbor is selling gas and diesel (and very convenient to tie up to, this is where I would go). It's on the right, just as you enter the harbor, with brand new facilities.

I'm not sure about Biloxi Small Craft Harbor, but I'm 99 per cent sure they are selling gas and diesel, too.

I'm not sure what is going on in Ocean Springs. The gas/diesel facility was close there last time I was there.

Pascagoula. Nothing in the small craft harbor. Gas and Diesel available if you take the commercial harbor channel (that goes right by the Chevron refiner).

Dauphin Island.(alabama) You can get gas and diesel in a power boat, but unless you have a super shoal draft, you can't get into the facility in a sailboat.

Mobile Bay, lots and lots of places to get it.

On the ICW east of Mobile Bay. Lots and lots of places to get it.
