'Chessie,' Where Are You ?

I am looking for the current location of a 48' Bruce Roberts Ketch who was named Chessie in 2007. Fiberglass, pilot house, built by Sea West Vancouver BC, Canada 1977 - 1984. I cannot find her in the US Coast Guard registry, so I assume she has had her name changed or met her demise. The owners had many blogs of their adventures and had her up for sale in 2007 while docked near Rome, Italy. She is my dream boat. Any assistance in finding her would be greatly appreciated.

Several years ago I typed in all the attributes of my dream boat, then hit search. Chessie popped up. The most current information I had on her was that she was in Italy, for sale. But I never got a response from the contact email listed. Now I know why.

Where is her/your home base now? Is she as wonderful as I thought she might be? When you are through with her, will you please let me know?

I we owned her from 1988 to 1999. She was custom built in Vancouver, BC, for Bob Potter who owned Allied Engine Rebuilders. I try and find her every few years to keep up on her adventures. Today I discovered photos of her. S o very sad. She was up for sale in the States for $19,000. What a heartbreaking mess she is in!
