He got back on the boat and finshed the trip. The husband saved face since he never got ratted out in front of his wife. Good captains do what needs to be done. Some people are idiots. It's possible to work things out in ways that still work. Real life should be so easy.

My wife has that printed on the back of a business card. She gives it out at gas stations, home improvement stores and even handed it out at the "Hustler's of Hollywood" store once - LOL
