Central Listing...

As most of you know, I've been researching all types of boats, but I was curious if there is a centralized list of all of the names of manufacturers??

It seems that the more I research, the more I find out that there are even more different models and makes of monos, and cats. To make my overall search a little easier, I would love to have a possible list of ALL makes and models as a "bible" of names and makes of all boats..

Does this even exist? Let me know if you know of any link or pages that have a vast majority of boats.

Cheers!

There would be directory's available I am sure. But the easiest is to google some name like Boat builder (156,000 listed) or other similar title.

You may want to find copies Mauchs sail boat guide. It is a service intended for brokers and will not include "all" sailboats but will include the most common ones.

BoatWatch

Try Boatwatch Master Guide to Sailboats of the World by Max Wade Averitt. It has Sail plans Layout plan and specs regarding displacement LOA etc. Has over 1600 sailboats from 20 to 80 feet.
