Also make sure they are not the wireless interconnected kind. Ours both go off if either of them gets activated if you connect them during setup. That is a feature not a bug. :-)

Well that's a great question since you you can't taste or smell CO. I bet the "no reason" is based just on that no one passed out and died!

Mine goes off once in awhile for "no reason", but it's an alarm and I take action based on it. I would prefer to take action based on the alarm and it being wrong, than to not take the actions and it being right.
