Excellent site -- thank you for posting that.

I've always wanted to cruise the Bras D'Or lakes . . . maybe this will help get me up there.

Re: Cape Breton Nova Scotia anyone?

Glad to see this.

I've been through the lakes a few times, but always on transit.

I own some land in Washabuck.

I've spent a few weeks broke down in St Peters. Great Marina.

I've also kept my boat at North Sydney a couple of years.

I'd love to go back and spend more time there. So much to do and see, so little time!

Re: Cape Breton Nova Scotia anyone?

Thanks so much for the info. I am planning a trip up there in August. We want to hike and also sail. Have been looking for a boat to bare boat charter in Bras D'or Lakes for a week but no luck. We could bare boat or just day sail and stay on land, so boat length isn't that important. And if it's only for a few days, that's fine, too. Tom and I are good sailors who have done much monohull bare boat sailing in the caribbean and New England.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Jackie
