Canvas work Norfolk/Hampton VA location

We will be in a Hampton VA marina for about 3 weeks in June and are in need of new cockpit cushions (3). Can anyone recommend a good canvas shop in that area?

I was pleased with the bimini canvas made by Canvas and Cushions in Hampton some years ago. Not sure if either of these numbers are still good 757 245-7711;757 723-0553.

I had a great experience with Hayes Custom Sails and Canvas. About 30 mins outside of Hampton in Yorktown area. All work was done on time, on budget, and with attention to detail.

They did my dodger ($1200) and custom 6" settee cushion ($700) which is where I sleep sometimes.

After a lifetime of being gouged and raped by any business that features "marine" in its title or description, I found that if I buy the material, cut it roughly to shape then the local dry cleaners is happy to sew up. Maybe not dodgers or biminis, but weather covers, cushions etc. No probs. Possibly we have a monopoly on rapacious waterfront businesses in Oz and a surplus of entrepreneurs in dry cleaners.
