Can anyone read these French words for me?

Hi all....
I'm working on the nav lights on our Jeanneau Sun Fizz. I recently bought the boat which had new lights installed by the previous owner but they're inoperative. I'm going to measure voltage on each wire going up the mast and while gaining access to the wiring, I saw this note. It's in French and in cursive. My camera focuses poorly so I hope you can see it well enough to make out what it says. I can see the colors on the right side enough to do a translation but I can't quite make out the cursive lettering on the left side. Reading French hieroglyphics is not my strong suite! If anyone can make out what it says I would be mighty grateful.

Hi
I think i got it
Hune - orenge - hune is the mid mast white light 225 degrees .
Pont - white - pont is the deck light
Masse - noir - masse is the interior of the boat
Mouillage - violet - mouillage is prpbably the anchoring light
Hope that helps

Yes Muly31...that is most helpful. A pat on the back is coming your way!
French is a beautiful language...I'd like one day to learn it.

Re: Can anyone read these French words for me?

Hey Mike. I have a SunFizz 40 which I bought in France. I did a thorough refit while in France and now am on Tenerife island in the canaries on my SunFizz. I'm Swiss and speak fluent French.
Hune: Mid mast light
Pont: Deck
Masse: Ground
Mouillage. Anchorage.
You can check out my boat and adventures on my YouTube channel Winded Voyage.
Alex.

Re: Can anyone read these French words for me?

The best I can make out is as follow:
Hune - Orange = Motoring white light is Orange
Pont - Blanc = Deck light are White
Masse - Noir = The Ground is Black
Mouillage - Violet The anchor light is Violet or Purple
They are the wiring color code for the light in the mast

Hello, I am French and I arrive too late to help, but I confirm the above translations are accurate !
Congratulations !
I had English tags on the electric panel of my previous boat, thus I had the following :
"hune" : steaming light - orange
"pont" : deck light - white
"masse" : ground - black
"mouillage" : anchor light - purple

Are you guys really sure ? ;-)

Hune = Feminine for One
Orange = fruit, can be annoying
Pont = extended bank holidays between 2 existing bank holidays (happen every month)
blanc = glass of white wine, often small and dry
masse = usually of lot of something big and sh$ty
noir = dark, pessimistic (dark side of the force, dark ideas)
mouillage = action of mouiller ... hum... not politically correct.. but soo french.
violet = common first name in some aristocratic society

Damn, now i understand, they are everywhere. French was almost the 1rst language at the Annapolis show last month.

Alex,
Really like your Winded Voyage videos! Very cool story telling.
While in the Cannaries, if you see them, say "Hi" to Steph on Soul (in french, while he can do both = only sailing Vblogger doing it in French and english!) and Daveindubai/theDaleys (but then in proper english).

Re: Can anyone read these French words for me?

Gosh, all I can say is 'YOU GUYS ROCK'! I do so much appreciate you all chiming in. So many good folks here willing to share. I'm awed by this place. Thanks so much.
And Alex, I saw one of your videos today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be watching a lot more now that I know about you. I thought the SS anchor roller was pretty slick. A good move putting the nylon washers (insulators) between those two dissimilar metals.
I must say that I do like the Sun Fizz though mine's not a retractable keel model. Finally, a boat I can back!
