Buying a Used Sailboat

As someone looking to buy a sailboat, I am noticing one thing above all else...."refit" is the mostly overused term in the used sailboat marketplace. Some people change the fabric on a few cockpit cushions and claim a refit.

You got this one right. In the end, you have to check what was done, what was left and what was done so badly that it'll cost more to fix that it would have cost to do it right the first time.

Refit just means, there might be a good reason to walk away.
