Well I managed to get out there today, but although its was bright and warm, the wind was blowing stronger than forecast and the sea with wind over tide was very choppy so not the most comfortable for my 23ft Caprella. Rather than wait for the other side of low water to get back in, I turned in early and enjoyed the calmer Christchurch Harbour with its wonderful wildlife. Weekend the wind is back up around force five so apart from watching fireworks from my mooring on Saturday night as part of our annual Christchurch Regatta week, it's back to work on Monday.
Hey, could be worse, it could be raining...oh that's forecast for next week too!

global warming is in Central Texas

IF we don't end these 100+ days, 49 so far, I may wish for British style weather....The rain at any rate.
