Boat Survey related question

Hi
I have couple Survey related question if somene can please shed some light (mainly applicable for / in Australian Region).

- If a recreational Sailboat taking Crew for short passage with contribution paid by the Crew require a Survey? If Yes, what class that could be?

- What Survey Class is required for a Training Sail boat >12 for coastal sailing?
I read on the AMSA site that since 1 July 2018, training vessels are exempt of Survey, I am not clear on this topic hence put it as a question here.

- Any URL link that clearly states Sail Boat > 12m Survey checklist, i.e what exactly each survey class look for in a sail boat. (Even Coastal Sailing vessel, that makes trips along (within 30NM from the shores) coastline?

- What are the qualifications to look for to hire a Sailboat Surveyor?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Boat Survey related question

Having a Survey and Being under Survey are two different things. Being under survey means it must have certain things to be a commercial vessel - Liferaft, various signage around the boat to name just a couple of things. The cost in Australia of putting a New boat under survey is expensive as there are a lot of T's to cross and I's to dot - Give or take $50K
