Boat Porn- Why'd I look????

I'm so screwed ( and not in a good way ) I have been looking for a boat- 26-38 foot and have found many that will work- now just to find the right one. I have avoided looking at ones out of my price range- until today- decided to get back on sailboatlistings.com and sorted by length with no price max. WOW! Now the little boats I've been eyeing look sad . I should never have let my eye wander.....
Will I ever look at another 26' Westerly the same again?
I need to attend a boat porn anonymous meeting I'm afraid. I think I'll go pick up a lottery ticket- just in case.

Can't wait Gunky! Crabs are running right now- hubby spent an hour yesterday and caught a cooler full! Going diving to spear flounder this weekend.

What size range you looking at? I love cruising the boat porn sites...and can keep you more than busy with what I find..

It's a date Gunky! Fishing will be optimal inshore and gulf at that time, if you stay around a week or so we can take you out fishing or diving if you dive. there will be plenty of food and beverage for sure
We're looking for 26-38 foot and hoping to get on the 38' side. Need 5' or less draft, prefer 4' or less. Would like at least a 10' beam- more is better. Would like nice aft cabin with head and shower if possible. hope for $30,000 or less. Barehull with good engine (disiel) if ok as I would love to avoid the double settee set up in all boats- with just two of us I'd rather use one side for storage.
We plan to stick to the Gulf of Mexico as our cruising area so don't need a blue water boat as we will probably do mostly short hops place to place.
Now you have an excuse to puruse the porn sites

Nothing wrong with looking at boats listed at 20-30% more than you are willing to pay and finding one worth making an offer on that is 70-80% of asking price.

If you think the Russian pron sites are bad, I tell you the Asian one are worse! Like always, they may be lookers but after you get personally involved it's the high maintenance that gets you!

My wife started getting suspicious and I almost got caught once, I had to think of a fib quick so I told her I was checking out a dating website (fortunately for me there happened to be a couple bikini clad models lounging on the deck in some of the pics) but I think she might be getting suspicious.

hahahahahahahaha I'll see you at the meeting. I too started with a 26' Westerly, now I'm looking at 32' Beneteau's, Pacific Seacraft's and all the other goodies. It's just awful... the best to you.
