Re: Boat Partnership Agreement

sailstoo, We have 9 owners in our SHARED CORPORATE OWNER MEMBERSHIP arrangement and operate by the Golden Rule and majority e-mail voting on issues. We have a great group that has worked very well for 15 years now. As owners, we are very careful when selling our shares to insure that the prospective new share holders understand the "drill" and that they are boat owners with responsibilities, not charterers who can leave their mess and problems to others. Attitude!!!! / Attitude!!!! / Attitude!!!! George

The partnership agreement that I sent you via e-mail is not ours nor anything that we would use. It is simply an archived copy of an agreement that I had on file.

Then you get the battle of the rule merchants versus the seat of the pants types.

Soon everyone is arguing and a good boat goes on sale cheap.

Buy a smaller one and own it yourself.
Yea,good boat for cheap.... thats what I want.

Re: Boat Partnership Agreement

Pay special attention to the "dissolution" provisions in any agreement because one day, hopefully not sooner than later, you will be implementing them. It is always easier to work these provisions out when you are still friends and excited about the new endeavor as opposed to when things have fallen apart or even when you split up amicably.
