Re: Boat Festival Pics.

Great photos. Glad to see people enjoying the brilliant weather here today (afternoon anyway). I see the "steam dory" which we saw last year chugging around the anchorage in Mackaye Harbor, Lopez Island. It's quite a craft and has a little steam whistle as well.

Cheers.

Re: Boat Festival Pics.

Met the crew of Delfin. Nice folks.

Delfin is an amazing boat. A little ship, really. Stout, Seaworthy, Salty looks. Impeccable finish work. Robust systems. A pleasure to be aboard.

Thanks for the tour.

He even gave me a little toot of the whistle for the camera (puff of smoke).

Re: Boat Festival Pics.

Thanks for posting the pix. It's always a pleasure to go to the wooden boat festivals. I just keep saying "Wow" and "How Cool" like a broken record. And I love the steam boats, too. At this year's WBF in Hobart, there was the first ever steam outboard engine I've . seen. Amazing.

Thanks again.

Ann

Thanks for those pics, Steve. They cheered me up after reading some of the "WE are not slaves" thread (now on "ignore').

Re: Boat Festival Pics.

Great photos! I always appreciate the work and love that goes into keeping wooden boats in this sort of shape, and I always love seeing them on the water.
