I think the other factor unsaid here is the condition of the 20 year old boat. Rigging and engine issues can affect you in very bad ways if not in sound condition.

I know this post implies the general seaworthiness of the boat but the other factors need to be considered.

Thanks for the responses. I have made the trip in the past just wasn’t that familiar with the Jeanneau boats.

They're designed for that, so like others have said, depends on condition.
