Best Websites to find boats to buy.

In the hunt for the perfect singlehand liveaboard bluewater cruiser...

Anyway... Wanted some feedback on which websites people watch and what areas they service best.

so the biggest seems to be yachtworld.com, which in turn seems to have a worldwide selection of boats, but in most cases seems to be a listing site for yacht brokers and not so much for private sales.

As I'm UK/euro based it also seems to be mostly a US website, I don't seem to get a lot of mediterranean listings.

This could mean that Med cruisers list to a different site being non english speakers, or that yacht sales in the med is quite slow.

Also, A lot of the boats I dream of seem to only be acquirable in the US.

So what I'm asking is, What websites do people use to track yacht sales in

2. MED
3. US East Coast
4. US Westcoast
5. Pacific

Also is there a website for private non brokered sales? Craigslist seems to be very hit or miss....

Have you tried sailboatlistings.com?

All private sales.

the problem with that site is that there appears to be listings on there that are 6 yrs old and there soesn't seem to be a way to filter out the older listings...
