Not sure if or where floats for the 750 fall into that picture.
One of my dreams is to build a Super STOL or something like it. That Super Duty looks like tons of fun. What kind of powerplant are you going with? Keep us posted on that cat project for sure. I've built a handful of 20' and smaller aluminum boats, and the challenge of building a cruising yacht would be a ton of fun!

I'll bet that 206 on floats has really opened up some new flying opportunities! I have a Ciruus now, but only because it makes me more efficient for work. I really want a taildragger on big tires with too much horsepower, and then the fun can start.

There's a lot of cross over. I'm about to fly my RV-8 down to Key West for a week of sailing

I fly for recreation, although I have a commercial rating and used to get paid to fly. But not driving a bus, I did low level formation aerobatics on the airshow circuit (including a night show, beat that Blue Angels! lol)

I used to fly a hang glider. No motor, off course.

Not sure on engine yet, I have always been fascinated with Mazda rotaries, but finding a good PSRU for them can be difficult, its still my first choice. The Yamaha conversions look pretty good for this plane as well.

First two boats I built,

And some of the parts I have made for the Zenith so far,

Still a couple years off from starting the Catamaran, but really like the looks of the Schionning Solitare..... will see if thats the one we choose when we get a little closer

I am sure when the time comes I could take a page out of Tom Sawyers playbook and allow a select few the 'privilege' of enjoying some of that fun........

Yeah I think we all enjoy the fun things you can do by sculpting flowing air.

Re: Bernoulli is the Common Denominator....How Many of You Also Fly?

been curious about paramotoring lately.... sure looks like fun.
Wonder if an liveaboards take one along.
International rules might get a little sketchy sometimes but seems like a good way to fly in some unique places

PPL with night rating, about 350hr, mostly on a co-owned Piper Arrow 200.

Stopped flying after selling my share in the plane because hire and fly is just too damned expensive.

PPSEL/MEL, M20F daily driver plus a small flock of trainers in a business.

FWIW perhaps the best short and comprehensive lecture I've seen on what makes lift, encapsulating all the different perspectives. Lecturer is a rocket scientist.

Ex Oz navy pilot, back in the day when Oz could run to a proper aircraft carrier.

Also raced cars, & rode show jumpers & eventers. All these are really very similar. The power is supplied, what you have to put in is the finesse to handle it & make the most of it.

Re: Bernoulli is the Common Denominator....How Many of You Also Fly?

I guess I check all the boxes and more...PPL (~200 hrs), LSA (~200 hrs), Hangliding (~10 hrs), Paragliding (~100 hrs), Scuba open water, Advanced Freediving, Mountain climbing, Motorcycling, Skiing, Backcountry skiing, Snowboarding, kitesurfing, windsurfing, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, and of course Sailing

I wish I had the time to do them all, but I have to cycle them in and out every few years!
