Heh Fellas, my boat
is in Mexico
. Sometimes a guy just needs a decent barometer. Been doing the 'Search" on the Internet
. Been reading Dashew's Mariners Weather
Handbook. They make a valid case, in my mind, of barometric recordings for safety
. I have a piece of junk and would like to upgrade to a barometer that can be calibrated...and hopefully has the ability to record
movement over time.
Saw one for about 500 hundred dollars...and there are so many things that i need to buy....
waddya think...any and all ideas will be entertained. Who was the sailor who used the dish towel hanging on his gimballed stove
to fortell impending weather
? British gent I believe....Chichester?
