Re: Bahamas Internet Question

but it doesn't address the question of whether or not I can get a SIM card and blackberry subscription in West End, or if we will have to go to Freeport for that. Anyone know?

Re: Bahamas Internet Question

When I went to the Abacos in 2010, I spoke to a Verizon Rep in West End......he could take care of the SIM card for my phone, but not my air card. I would have had to go to Freeport or Nassau for that. No longer have the contact info, but I think I got it from Verizon originaly.

There is a Batelco office in West End so you should be able to get one (but nothing is ever for certain in the Bahamas )

Give them a call. 242-346-6511

ps. Enjoy your trip home!!

Re: Bahamas Internet Question

Thanks Rick. I think we've set a record for the slowest trip down the ICW in Florida history. Run a few hours, drop to one engine, spend two days in a marina buying and installing parts, that kind of thing.

Been sitting in Lake Worth for two days waiting for the right weather. spent the time fixing more stuff. But the conditions look right for tomorrow. Lake Worth to West End. If the engines both run.

Bermuda, if not.
