Anybody in Tahiti or know anybody in Tahiti ?

Hi folks, theres a boat i'm interested in thats docked in Tahiti, i'm currently in Malaysia and the flights there and back are a few thousand dollars, a bit of a risk to go and look at a boat. They don't always appear quite like they do in the advert/photos !!

I was just wondering if anybody was there whether they could have a glance over the boat for me ?

Or you might know somebody was there ?

Could i pay somebody to have a look at it for me ? Not like a full survey but a visit to see if the photos i have seen are genuine or from 7 years ago ?!

You might post this over on the CF electronics forum, and ask about ham operators that might get in touch with people in Tahiti. There are several sailing ham nets for the Pacific ( I dont know the frequencies) that probably have people in Tahiti. It is worth a try! Good Luck. ______Grant.
