any ideas about cal 24

I'm looking at a mid 80's cal 24
has anyone on the forum had experience with one of these.
Looking for doing some singlehanding on the great lakes
i'd appreciate your ideas

Aloha smo,

I've only looked at them as a prospective buyer. They seem like a good first boat choice. As an older sailor I don't care for flush decked boats because there are less handholds while going forward but it creates more room below. I don't believe they would be good in heavy weather so if you'll watch your weather and set it up for singlehanding it should be ok.
There might be others here who have actually owned one so don't take my word for it as recommendation to buy. Wait for others to weigh in.
