PutASailOnIt and myself are now anchored in the east basin. We tried the west basin but it was full with 4 boats! Yes, this anchorage is tiny. I assume to discourage long term anchor outs. The east basin is even smaller. We have 9ft. under the keel and 100 ft of chain out. The bottom here was once bulldozed and feels like clay when the Rocna dug, skipped then dug in. When we swing, we're within 20 ft. of a mooring and 30 ft. from a marker...it's that small.
Ya...we could have anchored outside but figured this was a little safer. I hope I'm right.
