America’s Cup concept boat - Meet the Mule

I don’t know about anyone else but I’m sure excited about the next America’s cup. Sure it’s a long way off but some of this stuff is crazy.

It's a mono trying to be a tri at speed.

It’s about half the size of the final vessel. They need to get started training.

Re: America’s Cup concept boat - Meet the Mule

It's certainly one of the more interesting developments in racing for monos since DSS and where the Volvo boats have gone. I'm looking forward to seeing them. I might even pop over the ditch for a wee look. When I first heard the kiwis were thinking of going back to monos I was pretty disappointed and thought it was a backwards step but I was wrong.

The kiwis will put on a good show. Just don't tell them an Aussie said that ...

Agreed, I know there was some backlash with the hot rod cats but With the appeal that the speed brings, I personally do not see foiling going away. Happy to see them fit it into a monohull

Regardless I’m happy to see it them racing in such creative ways.
