Advice needed about boats in Mexico

Hello sailors,

I'm a crew who made my first Atlantic crossing in December, followed by a Caribbean crossing in January. I'm currently on dry land in south-east Mexico and will be heading to the Yucatán Peninsula in the next few days. I would like to sail to the Bahamas from there, but after looking at different crewing websites, can't find information about boats there. Does anybody know if this is the right time of the year to find a boat in Cancún, Cozumel or Isla Mujeres, etc. that is heading towards the Bahamas? Or even further northwards and across the Atlantic? Can anyone give me some information or advice about boats there? Thank you very much for your help, it's greatly appreciated.
