53 ' Skookum Feedback?
We are looking into purchasing a 1977 53' skookum pilothouse, any information about these boats would be great, price, problems, pros/cons. We hope to go on an extended voyage with 3 kids. How would these boats compare either to a Bruce Roberts ? or a 48' Maple Leaf center cockpit same vintage? All responses very much appreciated.

Do a search on user name "billr". There are a number of us with Skookum 53's and Skookum 47's that have posted to that site.

I was wondering if anyone here knows info on the Skookum 53 "Silver Moon" in South Carolina ?
